BIG 5/GAME DRIVE EXPERIENCE
Imagine viewing hippos, waterbuck and a host of other wild animals, congregating at a watering hole at close range, from the comfort of your private viewing deck.
Or in the early morning, observing the African Fish Eagle, known as ‘the voice of Africa’ for its distinctive ringing cry, make a ‘kill’ as it swoops down to feed on its primary diet of fish, snatching its prey from the water with its large, clawed talons.
And, when you turn in for the night, enjoying the solitude and splendour of this pristine wilderness, with just the whistling call of the fiery-necked nightjar to lull you to sleep.
Set in spectacular surroundings, Cheetah Ridge Lodge’s three tailored accommodation options make it the ideal destination for families, couples and solo travellers—not to mention game and bird watchers, battlefield and photo-safari tourists. It may also be used for business meetings and small conferences.
These options include:
Fully-catered accommodation in 10 luxury suites overlooking a private watering hole
A family suite, which sleeps up to six people, situated in the Main Lodge
Nambiti House is a separately run self-catering lodge, located on the Cheetah Ridge grounds – perfect for a relaxed family getaway, or retreat with friends.
Each free-standing luxury suite overlooks a private watering-hole, allowing guests the opportunity to observe a vast array of congregating African wildlife, from the privacy of their own viewing deck.
Each and every staff member were so friendly and happy. The room was luxurious, spotless and situated overlooking the waterhole. The food was divine and plenty of it and Phiwa made sure we were never thirsty! But my highlight was a wonderful experience we had among the elephants on one of our game drives. Jaime was phenomenal and his calm demeanour, knowledge, and understanding of the beloved elephants, was mindblowing!

What a lovely stay! I love the homely feeling of the lodge, yet you are still wrapped in luxury. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Excellent babysitting service. The Ranger was so accommodating and took us on a separate game drive with our 2-year-old girls and looked for animals they would love. I am already planning our second trip to this establishment.

We were in the self-catering unit which was beautiful, spacious and had its own outside space with a pool, fire/ bbq area and a swing which was ideal for our 3-year-old.The daily game drives were with Grayson who was brilliant – we had some amazing animal sightings. We will definitely be back at Nambiti House and would recommend it to everyone.
